The 2018 release offers a nose of bright citrus, lemon meringue, key lime, and flinted limestone. The wine opens with a subtle taste of warm candied apple, shaved graham cracker, and vanilla spice and showcases a soft mid-palate, taming the otherwise edgy acidity typical of this terroir. Flavors of lemon and lime and green apple with a soft lengthy finish bursting with more bright fruit and oak-inspired vanilla.

The 2018 release was a “once in a decade” growing season and this fruit is expressed so beautifully in the bottle. This vintage presents a nose of damp soil, ripened woodland strawberry, and oak encouraged spice, with background notes of cinnamon and vanilla. The palate is fuller-bodied, a touch spicy, and fruit-focused. The finish reveals a hint of the elegant acidity typically dominant of this terroir.

The initial aromatics comprise of rich caramel, apple blossom, and pretty white flower. The palate is lively, and the acidity here perfectly complements the more textural component of the mid-palate profile. Zesty acid facilitates more delightful caramel and vanilla through the finish, along with lemon tart and graham cracker
Refined notes of strawberry, lemon-lime, and granite rock on the nose. The palate is elegantly structured, with more lemon-lime, mandarin orange, crispy strawberry, and melon. The finish is rather lively, with citric fruit notes wedged blissfully between candied strawberry and bing cherry pie.
